This summer the girls have gone swimming a lot. At school, Whitney swims with her class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Brooke's class sometimes joins them. Here at home we have a small plastic pink pool that the girls have swam in a few times. It is very small, so we recently upgraded to a larger pool that is deeper and a lot bigger.
In the afternoons our house shades our yard so the girls can swim without getting sunburned, but it's still hot enough. It's not Brooke's favorite thing to do, but Whitney loves it. She would stay in for hours if I let her. We've also gone to the cousins house to swim. Whitney had so much fun running and jumping into the pool with her crazy boy cousins. They have a lot of fun together every time we hang out.

Your slide and small pool looks pretty similar to Carson's backyard swim experience this summer. He pretty much touches the end of his pool (a.k.a. turtle sand box) when he goes down the slide. I love that kids don't mind improvising.
Congrats on the baby news Beth! That's so fun:) Do you know if it's a boy or girl yet?
